Türkçedeki:

• “yaparım”
• “gider”
• “okur”
• “sever”
• “çalışır”

gibi anlamlar verir.

Örnek:

• I play football. → Futbol oynarım.
• She drinks coffee. → Kahve içer.
• They live in Ankara. → Ankara’da yaşarlar.

Burada fiile genellikle -s eklenir.

3. Fiile “-s / -es” Eklenmesi

Normalde sadece “-s”

• play → plays
• read → reads
• drink → drinks

“-es” Alan Fiiller

Fiil şu harflerle bitiyorsa:

“-es” gelir.

Örnek:

Sessiz harf + y → “ies”
