My Summer Vacation in Spain
Every year in July, my family and I go on a summer vacation. Last summer, we went to a beautiful coastal town in Spain called Malaga. We stayed there for two weeks. We traveled by airplane from London. The flight took about three hours. I sat near the window, so I could see the white clouds and the blue sea below. When we arrived in Malaga, the weather was very hot and bright. We took a taxi to our hotel. The hotel was close to the beach. It had a big swimming pool and a lovely garden with palm trees. Our room was on the third floor and it had a balcony with an amazing view of the ocean. Every morning, we woke up at eight o’clock and ate breakfast at the hotel buffet. There was a lot of delicious food like fresh fruit, bread, and yogurt. After breakfast, we put on our swimsuits and went to the beach. The sand was yellow and warm, and the water was clear and blue. I loved swimming in the sea with my father. My mother preferred to sit under an umbrella and read her books. In the afternoon, we walked around the old town. We saw historic buildings and narrow streets. We also visited a traditional market and bought some souvenirs for our friends. In the evening, we ate delicious Spanish food like paella at a local restaurant. It was an unforgettable holiday.
