The Four Seasons in My Country

My name is Paul and I live in Canada. In my country, we experience four very distinct seasons every year: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each season lasts for three months and brings different weather and activities. Spring starts in March. The weather slowly becomes warmer, and the snow melts. Flowers begin to open, and the trees become green again. I love spring because nature looks beautiful and fresh. People start to spend more time outside. Summer begins in June. It is the hottest season of the year. The days are very long and sunny. School finishes for two months, so children are very happy. During summer, my friends and I go to the lake. We swim, ride our bicycles, and have picnics. Autumn starts in September. The weather becomes cool and windy. The leaves on the trees change their colors from green to beautiful yellow, orange, and red. Then, the leaves fall to the ground. Children go back to school in autumn. My favorite autumn activity is collecting colorful leaves. Winter starts in December. It is the coldest season. It snows a lot, and everything becomes white. The temperature is often below zero. I wear a heavy coat, a scarf, gloves, and a warm hat. In winter, people like skiing and ice skating. We also celebrate Christmas and New Year in winter. I love all the seasons because they are all unique and interesting.
